Mrs. Simao-Breen is a graduate of East Catholic High School, Manchester, CT and holds a BA in Child Study from Saint Joseph College, West Hartford, CT.   She has taught for many years in the Archdiocese of Hartford, the last 20 years at St Timothy Middle School.   In addition to teaching math and science,  Mrs Simao-Breen moderates the Cooking Club and orchestrates the STMS Science Fair.

Mrs. Breen has recently returned from a 3400 mile cross-country road trip.

Some of her favorite stops include the SPAM Museum, a 60 foot statue of the Jolly Green Giant, the Badlands of So Dakota, Mount Rushmore and the Oregon coast.
